Marcel helps buyers and sellers across Edmonton and the surrounding areas navigate the real estate process with clarity and confidence. No pressure, no gimmicks—just real conversations and thoughtful guidance every step of the way.

Originally from South Korea, Marcel moved to Edmonton with his family at the age of 5 and has proudly called the city home ever since. Having grown up in Edmonton, he brings a strong local perspective and understanding of the communities people choose to live in.

Marcel began his real estate journey as a licensed REALTOR® in 2022, as part of a local boutique real estate team in Edmonton that consistently handled over 90 transactions per year, helping dozens of families navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives. Today, Marcel works as part of MaxWell Progressive, alongside a network of over 100 professional local REALTORS® at his brokerage.

Before becoming a REALTOR®, Marcel graduated from the University of Alberta School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce in 2018. After graduating, he worked as a Business Analyst and Assessment Specialist at the Government of Alberta, and continued to build his professional career for several years. After much contemplation, Marcel decided to pursue his entrepreneurial drive and enter real estate through property management, where he was responsible for overseeing the daily operations of three multi-family apartment buildings in the Crystallina neighbourhood—managing more than 180 apartments and over 200 tenants. These experiences built a strong foundation in market analysis, negotiation, and a real-world understanding of housing from multiple perspectives.
